Default Blurry picture on my new Samsung 3D Plasma TV

hi folks

I recently replaced my Vizio LCD TV with a Samsung 3D Plasma TV and immediately, the content coming through my Directv HD-DVR (HR21-700) has blurry/pixel-ly sort of shadow that shows up around some moving objects on screen. It does not happen through the other source, BluRAy DVD. It does not happen all the time and happens on both HD and SD content.

I have used my older Avia video calibration dvd to try and get the TV calibrated, and I've tried lowering brightness, contrast, sharpness settings, etc. I've looked through most of the settings to see if anything seemed to make sense (movie mode, dynamic mode, etc), and nothing seemed to help.

Any suggestions? Like I said it did not happen with my previous Vizio LCD TV. Samsung says call DirecTV that if it's not happening on all inputs, it's not the TV (easy way out). DirecTv can say it didn't happen until this TV was put in, so it must be the TV. Augh!!!!!!

Any thoughts?

Don't think so. Actually watching a bluray dvd now I can see it there as well just not as pronounced. Not sure if I need to log a service call or what. Sounds like a lot of people see this. Samsung wasn't much help.

Thumbs down Samsung

Samsung is known for poor customer support. IMO, if you can, take it back.
