Default Double play

I hate to sound like a dummy, but I do not understand double play. I believe I can live buffer two channels. How do I set the channel # on the second tuner. Thanks for any help.

Push the down arrow a few times to get doubleplay started. Enter a channel number for one buffer then press the down arrow to switch to the other buffer and enter a channel number for that buffer. Then you can switch between the 2 buffers by pressing the down arrow.

Unless I'm doing something wrong, there doesn't seem to be a way to pause the video on one buffer while switching to the other. When I go back to the first buffer, it is no longer paused.

Which one? The down arrow of the channel button or the one at the center with enter in the middle?

Correct, when you return to the "paused" channel, it starts right back up where you paused it. I guess Direct figures that if you are switching, you want to WATCH the paused channel and are helping you by un-pausing. Don't know if this is good or bad, but have not had it hurt my viewing yet.

Not the channel change button, all that does is change channels. Use the down arrow around the middle circle.

Default Odd problem

OK, i figured out how to use double play (which is cool) but how do I make it stop? I am trying to change channels, without starting double play, and I get a Live TV Conflict window opening up. I have shut off the receiver but this keeps popping up. Anybody else with this problem?
