Default Panasonic CT26WX15

I have had this TV for about maybe 4 years now and it seems that the sides-left and right of the pitcure screen is not clear and very blurry but the center of the picture is very clear and amazing quality. Could it be the tube is "already" going out?
I also noticed dark scenes are close to impossible to identify. It was never like this before. I don't hate the TV I'm just wondering if anyone out there with the same TV or similar problems?

Help...
