Hey guys, I can't really "gauge" this as this will be my first HDTV, but is 25ms response on an LCD a large delay? My primary use for this TV will be for gaming so I'm worried it may "ghost" some of my games, which will create a slow response time.

By the way, it's 720p, so I would have expected it to be faster. I was under the impression 720p is better for gaming. If this is not a good set, I will be getting this:

If it's 25 ms it's a really old panel, that can only present 30 frames a second... when 720p requires 60! To support 60 fps, a panel must have a response time of less than 16 ms (1000/60), better ones with no smear are 12 ms and less...

RSawdey is correct, with 25ms your games are going to look horrible unless you're the type of gamer that likes titles like Myst and similar genres where there's no fast-motion activity.
