Default Samsung TV - Direct selection of source? Universal Remote?

I have a TX-P3075WH TV. I have to cycle through the inputs to get to DVI, component, and VCR (no buttons to get there directly). Does anyone know how to get there directly, or how a universal remote might handle this? since there are no dedicated buttons, how would a remote "learn" how to switch inputs?

Also, the remotes I am looking at are the Harmony 659 (the test-drive on the Web site seems to support my TV correctly), the Home Theater Master MX-500, and the SONY RM-AV3100. I'm leaning toward the Harmony for the wife and in-laws (ease of use). Comments are appreciated!

I have the same questions for the Sanyo 30744HT. I'm thinking about getting a universal remote for this Sanyo, my Pioneer receiver, and my Philips DVD player. Any recommendations?

I bought this learning remote -> LINK
for my Samsung. It learns the input switching just fine.
The TV 'knows' what input it is on and just cycles to the next input when the signal is recieved from the remote.
