The specs says this is HDTV ready. The instruction manual says that it can display 1080i when connected to a HDTV receiver. The TV has both component video and RGB (15 pin) inputs. The RGB input is supposedly provided so that the TV can be directly connected to their RCA HD Satellite receiver (which has a RGB output connector and also called Hi RES output ) . Does this mean that 1080i can only be displayed thru this RGB input ? An adapter cable is also provided so that the RGB input can also be used as a second component video input and the TV recognises this automatically. If the RGB input is the only one that will accept 1080i then this its totally useless unless there a way to easily convert 1080i component video or HDMI output into RGB ? Any advise ? tks
