im gonna buy one of these hdtv monitors next week but i cant decide on which one i want to get. I have narrowed it down to these 3 models:
links... JVC AV-30W585 Samsung TX-P3075WH Sony KV-30HS420 the jvc has the lead because of the black bezel and it will fit perfectly on my current tv stand, but if it is not up to par performance wise with the sony or samsung i can live without the bezel and buy a new stand. I like the samsung because it has a built in tuner but i hear sony is the best as far as quality.(this is an assumption on the sony, please correct me if i'm wrong) anyways the TV will be used for dvd watching, psx2 and xbox playing, and DirecTV DVR viewing (will upgrade to HD package when the HD DVR comes down to a reasonable price!!!) cant find any customer reviews on the jvc model and I will not trust the local hhgregg employee on his comments/thoughts/salespitch of it any help u can give me will be greatly appreciated and i apoligize if this post was too long but i really dont want to smuck up my first hdtv purchase. thx

I looked at both the Sony and the Samsung models at the store for about 20mins yesterday at the store. The Samsung cought my attention the most. The picture quality looked better then what the Sony looked like. Im going to buy the Samsung next week because the PQ looked so good and I like the fact that it has a built in Tuner....that will save me $250.

We had the JVC here in the store sitting next to the KV30HS420 and the Toshiba 30HFX84 and I must say, on HD feed the JVC was a better picture than either one. I can't currently go judge what SD feeds look like because we sold out of them in a heartbeat, and for some reason the PTB here are not getting more any time soon. Anyway, IMHO you should get the JVC. Better picture and better MFR warranty than Sony.
