Default How to move my Outlook express between hard drives?

I have outlook express running in drive A on Windows XP, and I would like to move it to drive B on Vista. Both drives are on the same PC, so I can just copy and paste files between the XP drive and the Vista drive...

Can someone tell me how to move my Outlook from drive A to drive B (with all my emails intact)?

Since Vista doesn't use OE anymore, you'll need to follow a guide like this:

Does a variant on that method work for saving OE mail from XP to XP after a reformat? Every time I try I can save my addresses but never the messages.

Have you read the Microsoft KB article about backing up and restoring OE?

Thanks, kegobeer. This is a more thorough variant on the other methods I've tried, so I will give it a shot when I reformat. I don;t see why it shouldn't work. If it blows up in my face again at least this time I've gone through the effort of making sure that I have everything I need in one of three online mailboxes that I can POP into the new OE in case I get that "cannot read .dbx files."
I've never had any trouble saving my ADDRESS BOOK...but the mail messages, OY VEI!
