Default problem copying wedding photos onto dvd

I'm ready to rip my hair out. I just got married and my photographer told me to copy the DVD of proofs. Usually a simple thing to do but my hard drive crashed a week before the wedding. I had it replaced but ever since I can't burn DVDs by copying folders to the E drive. My duo stick won't even work in it. Is there another way to burn my wedding photos through dvd ?

To copy data to DVD, I strongly recommend IMGBurn, excellent dvd authoring software.

Hi Honeysuckle, & welcome to High Def Forum~

Sounds like you need techie help... It also sounds as though you don't have too much experience with manipulating data, but that's okay...

Even if you can't get your ability to burn a CD/DVD back up right now, you can always just copy the entire DVD contents to your PC's hard drive, and burn them back to a CD/DVD later~

The important part is getting your copies before you have to return the proof DVD!!

I think your BEST bet is if you have a "techie" friend or relative close by who can assist you "hands-on" (for FREE!!). Baring that, get back on this forum, or the other forum that someone in this thread says you were on, and start a dialog with some nerds like us who are willing and (hopefully) able to help you~

Again, this is a SMALL problem in terms of being a relatively easy fix, or at least to have an easy "work-around" solution...

Let us know if you are still having problems...

Gary
