Digital Notepads...question ?

Does anyone have one of these devices, or do any of you use one at work etc.

It's called a "digital note pad" with memory. Digimemo DM-L2 for short.

It promises to capture everything you write/draw on paper while held on (like a clip board, ordinary size paper up to 8.5"X11") with it's built in 32mb of memory.

I like the promise of this and was considering buying one as a gift for my wife, she's a writer, and this would enable her to do so while on road trips...without carrying along her laptop.

I'm looking at this one now at tigerdirect for $199 CAD, it is item # S144-1032 and I believe the model is DigiMemo DM-L2.

I'm not set on this particular unit, tigerdirect has others, and I'm not set on going thru tiger per se either. So if you have any opinions or facts to consider, I'd be grateful.

Looks like a cool product, even just for students who want to be able to archive their class taken notes onto a pc later (rather than typing on a laptop in class), but you really have to have a purpose to own one...thats why you might not be getting many responses.
