Default Using as computer monitor, will it damage my LCD TV?

I have a question/concern. I just got a new 32" Polariod LCD TV that i am now using as my primary external computer monitor (hooked it up to my laptop). I am wondering if, over time, leaving it on/using it as a computer monitor for a long period of time will damage my tv?

As of now, when i know i wont be using my computer for a while, i just turn off the TV. However, i sometimes come back to it after a few minutes, and therefore turn the tv back on. So i am constantly turing the tv off and on, off and on, etc.

What i would like to know is if is it ok to leave the TV on and have the computer screen saver go on, or is it best to turn it off and on whenever i go on/dont go on my computer?

Should I be concerned about color fade, dead pixels, etc after a while if i continue to use it as a computer monitor?

Any suggestions or help would be appreciated. Also, if anyone else has or had this TV, how has it been? Any problems??

Thanks.

LCDs are not a problem. Use it like any computer monitor.

Been using LCD monitors for last few years, been using a 26in LCD TV for main computer screen for last 20months.
(2 computers - 1 =19in LCD 2=26in LCD TV)

you dont have to keep turning it off. if you going to keep the same image 24\7 for months at a time it could be a problem. But for normal computer usage it will not harm anything to keep it on.
I have kept mine on same image (desktop) and other paused game and or online game for a few hours and is no problem.

most times i will be away for <4hrs or >8hrs... i turn off computers(one off one to sleep) and let monitors go to sleep mode if greater than 8hrs away.
if <4 i just leave them as they are.
