Hi All,
First off thanks in advance for any help anyone can give me, and for being a part of this community. I've spent a lot of time reading in the past week or so, and theres so much value in this and some other forums its hard to believe. My problem! I've recently purchased a Samsung DLP RPTV , which so far I love. I setup my PC to its native 1280*720 res and everything worked great in my old Windows XP install. However, as I like to toy around more than I should, I decided to also setup Windows Media Center edition, which also worked fairly well for a time. Then overnight when I began starting up my machine it would simply reboot right after the "windows xp" boot screen. This eventually started happening on my Windows XP install as well, so I wiped the machine and tried to install a fresh copy of Media Center edition, which was my plan once I had tested it out. Well this new install would reboot right after the Windows XP boot screen as well (before login appeared). So, I've tried a couple installs of Windows XP Pro which isntall fine, but also reboot my machine after the Windows XP boot screen tries to switch to the welcome/login screen. I havent been using a monitor to do the setups, and I intend to go do so now, but does anyone have any ideas of what could be going wrong? The TV seems to display 640 and 800 reses fine during the installs so I find it odd that the system reboots once the install is done. I'm using a Monster DVI cable as a connection and the TV is new... Nvidia 6600 GT video card as well. Thanks in advance for any help... seems like I've spent about 24 hours trying to get this working correctly. - Kaleb |

If your running 1 gig of ram try pulling out one stick or move them around. Check to make sure your not overheating whens the last time you dust bunny'ed your rig? Also check to make sure all of your fans are working and that you have a good power supply. Your 12, 3, and 5 rails my not be up to spec.
