Gameing monitor recomendations?

Which are the best PC (nVidia w/Win8) gaming monitors? I've been looking at the BenQ XL series.

There are many people who are very crazy about playing a game on a PC and there are many games that they can play or many choices that are available at there.

I use a 22" LCD TV 1920x1080@60hz on my gaming rig.
Don't see the point in buying a monitor when I have TV that does the same thing and more at the same price.
