I have an HD Homerun Prime.
Would I be able to get an Xbox 360 with a hard drive to use as a DVR? Thanks. |

Hello Friends,
The Microsoft Xbox 360 doesn't natively have DVR capabilities. However, it can act as a media extender for Windows Media Center which expands the Xbox 360's range of capabilities. By connecting your Xbox 360 to your computer via your home network, you can watch live TV, pause, record and rewind right from your console. You can also schedule recordings of single shows or entire seasons, view photos on your computer and listen to your music library. The xbox360 by itself has no DVR capabilities - it has no TV tuner; however, if your PC has a TV tuner, you can use your PC as a DVR and the Xbox as an 'extender" - This allows you to control your PC's TV tuner and programming via the xbox. Thanks And Regards, Duncan Jones |
