It's been a while since I posted here, came back to snoop around and noticed that there is a forum for XBMC my favourite FREE media centre. I couldn't resist the spamming http://xbmc.org/

XBMC has come a long way in the last year or so, from Dharma to the latest stable version of Eden and now 'Frodo' the latest incarnation of XBMC supporting PVR digital audio and TV with tons of streaming add-ons and extras like Cinema Experience, Psuedo TV, TV Triva and more. If anyone here is struggling or has been in the past, I invite you to try the latest and greatest and be prepared to be amazed.

I'd also be glad to offer some off-the-cuff suggestions or answer a question or two from a user perspective.

Unfortunately I have had to go to Windows 7 Media Center because I can only get Comcast where I moved. I am using Hauppauge DCR-2650 tuners that require W7 MC for operation. I wish XBMC could support them because I really like it better than Media Center.

Not with standing hardware limitations, XBMC has some great streaming capabilities on top of having one of the richest user interfaces for your movie collection. Many users have either integrated WMC (calling it up externally) within XBMC. MCE Live TV (and MCE Netflix) XBMC Integration http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=131464 Windows 8, 64bit, XBMC Eden stable release

This might be worth a try http://openelec.tv/component/k2/item...ec-20-released with onboard drivers.
