Default Tuner Card?

Is there a tuner card that will go in my computer with a coaxial input and a hdmi output? Will this be an advantage over just running the hdmi from my computer to my tv and the coax to the tv?

Not sure what you are trying to do, but there is a tuner card that will output DVI that could be used with a HDMI input on a HDTV. It is the MyHD card by MIT. For more info see: MyHTPC

Now most of the other tuner cards use your PC video card for the video output and there are HDMI video cards.

Yea sorry about being so confusing but I figured that problem out. Now my second issue is my second monitor. The new card I'm getting only has 1 dvi port. I use 2 monitors 1 at 1680x1050 and the other at 1024x768. I believe a DVI splitter wouldn't show me 2 separate screens the way I have them now, it would show the same screen 2 times and they have to be at the same resolution. So would adding just a cheap vga video card work for the second monitor without having to hook it up the the newer one?

Sorry that might have been a bit confusing to.
Video card 1. 1 dvi port to larger main monitor
Video card 2. 1 vga to smaller secondary monitor
2 separate displays?

Actually, I think you're confusing yourself. All you need is one good video card with dual output. Even a cheaper card will have DVI, HDMI and VGA outputs and you can use any combination of 2 of them.
