Thumbs up ProMedia 2.1 Wireless iPod/Computer Speakers

Introducing the just released Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 Wireless iPod/Computer Speakers. I haven't seen a review on these yet. However, about three weeks ago I purchased the regular 2.1 THX Certified speakers and they rock. I think both edditions of these speakers are better than the Logitech Z-2300 for one big reason: Versatility. They are both THX Lucas certified. They both sound wonderful and the subwoofers for both the Z-2300's and Klipsch Pro Media are full of solid base and sound. There's just one big problem. You can not hook up the Z-2300 to your television and use the sub as a dedicated subwoofer. Youn can even purchase stands from Wal-Mart for $39.99-$59.99 for the above the head surround experience we all love as if we were in the movie theatre. On the other hand I have already hooked up the Klipsch Pro Media 2.1's to my Toshiba 51H83 Rear Projection CRT and they rock as front or rear channels. Klipsch is known to make solid sound systems and they didn't stop here with next generation of wireless speakers. In fact, I would bet that they will release of 5.1 system as they did before. If they do release a wireless 5.1 THX Certified system you might have to wonder if the Klipsch line of 5.1 computer speakers would be better than Logitech Z-5500 5.1 THX Certified surround sound system or even some of the best computer speakers ever made. I know M-Audio would say something about that, but remember the M-Audio line of desktop 2.0 speakers are more so for music enthusitasts and for editing music in the studio. Overall, for the functionality consumers will love it for another big reason. It can hook up to your Ipod. Man, these speakers are fantastic.

Note: At this time, the only retail stores that carry them are Best Buy. Some stores are even sold out from my recent search. Happy holidays everyone. Peace....
