That is correct.Bill Gates' car was in storage for 12 years....waiting for legislation ("Show and Display Law") to come about.Still,to be driven, it must be modified(Cats, reworked, engine managements) to comply with emissions laws in the year of mfg. Not many owners willing to desecrate their highly collectible supercar....

Heck if I were Bill Gates I'd park it in Germany and just fly out there to drive it!
I agree 100% about messing up a good thing.

But these are only things I can dream about.

Yes it is the 4wd one and man is it a dream machine. A friend of mine owned it and he used to buy 3 or 4 new esoteric cars a year then sell them. Luckily I was afforded the chance to drive quite a few of them but was most impressed with the 959. I didn't want to drive it any faster on public highways but it still had pedal left as well as HP.

If those are anything like the old Fiesta's sold here in the states, that must have been a rather scary venture. I couldn't have guessed that they could even hit a top speed that high.

Maybe we need a topic: "Scariest Car I've ever Driven".

I rented a Chevette (remember those?) once and drove from San Diego to LA. And only once. San Diego Freeway on a windy day, it scared me sh#tless! The brakes started fade on downgrades after only a few jabs.

They really mis-named that car is should have been spelled Shove it. The one my wife had was the worst car I have ever been in.
