Until I moved to the pedestrian areas of Canada I worked in Europe and every car I owned was Autobahn tested to its posted max, which in Europe is a gentleman agreement of 155mph - some exceptions exist. It was almost an everyday occurrence to be maxed out - Oh god I miss that.
My ZZR 1100 as about 160, Honda Fireblade 900RR about the same,
Honda ST 1300 cruised nicely at 125 BMW K100 lt was happy about 100.

Now I am held to 70 and even that is over the limit here.

I was running late to my grandmothers funeral and had a ninja up to what it said was 160 mph, I figured I would have my own funeral before I missed my Grandmothers. I have an 08 Accord that I have done 120-140 in I don't know why I just love to drive fast. My first car was a 75 Plymouth with a 383 and yes the speedo topped at 120 but I know damn well it went a lot faster.

Many planes have a GPS option for the TV in your seat now. I seen this as far as 10 years ago when I used to travel buisness class, but now pretty much all seats have them (outside of SW airlines).. Pretty cool. It shows air speed, alitude air temp, track and eta based on average speed. I wish it would show ground speed when you are taking off though. 0-60 in like 2 seconds or some shit..

I also drive my BMW X3 at 120 miles, for in the highway, this is the speed limit. If not in the highway, the speed can only be 30-40 due to the traffic jam.
