Wow considering the OP's disdain for all things new I would have thought his preferred mode of transportation would be this ....

Actually, that is my philosophy as well. I have no dream cars because I don't sit around dreaming about cars that are not within my means. Sure I would love one of those new Mustang Cobras with 550hp, but no sense daydreaming about a $56k car that isn't affordable right now.

My dream car is a mid 1957' Fiat with a missing sun top. in rusty red, with balding mismatched tires and 1 hub cap and a well worn front seat cover, and no rear view mirror with bumper stickers covering the rust holes. ! Ah, the things that dreams are made of!

My Sister's first car was a 1957 Fiat in a dark navy blue, I remember the back seat folded down and you could actually go into the trunk and climb out of the rear of the car if needed.

It was a mechanical nightmare but I thought it was pretty cool (I was very young).

My dream car is a 1956 Porsche 356 Spyder in silver with red leather interior.

I've always wanted one.

Or a 1950 bath tub Mercury lowered chopped with frenched tail lights, dechromed except the chromed shark's tooth grill, car to be painted in either black or a really dark almost black purple with flames and full half moon wheels!
