SS350 and Sport Coupe: Manual 24:1

N44: Fast Ratio Manual 21.6:1

N40: Power Steering: 17.5:1

N44 + N40: Fast Ratio Power Steering: 15.6:1

92,181 cars were built with N40 and 6,155 cars were built with N44. That totals 98,336 but that also assumes no cars were built with N40 and N44 which we know isn't true.

Chevy built 220,906 Camaros in 1967 (all types) so more than 122,570 Camaros had the standard manual steering - over 55%.

To add to this, only 24,549 cars had J50: Power Brakes. That means that 196,357 cars had manual drum brakes - 89% (Note: In 1967, you could order J52: Front Disc Brakes - 14,899 did - without J50, but it has been my experience looking at thousands of 1967 Camaros - almost all of those with J52 had J50 also.)

Driving a 1967 Camaro, either a convertible or one with AC with the standard manual steering and standard drum brakes, would be like driving a bus!

BTW . . . the 1967 Z/28 came standard with N44 and mandatory J50, J52

Still, to this day, one of thee sweetest cars. Ever. Mustangs are for dusty old ladies. Camaro, 67's and 68's drip testosterone.
