Default 2003 Acura RSX Roof Molding Coming Loose.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Where the rubber roof molding comes loose and you could tear it off. Also I found 2 on Parts.com for 39.98 and the bracket is 4.45 for one. Would I need 2 or 4 for the brackets? It has something to due to the hot weather here in FL I know man you should see what it did to my steering wheel it's so ugly looking. Thanks for the help.
Mischa.

You may want to go to a more 'brand specific' automotive forum. Like this...you will find lots more information from many more owners of the same vehicle with similar problems.

http://www.acuraworld.com/forums/

I've done the same with my cars, and the little extra time spending some time on those forums (like HDTV for this one) can really pay off. Often with good advice as well as links to inexpensive places to purchase parts.

I can tell you it gets very hot for a few months where I live, and you really have to have a sun shield inside your front windshield, to protect the interior or you are just asking for problems. Make sure to keep your windows cracked a bit too.
As far as exterior protection, 303 Protectant is probably the best to use on your new trim.

I have an Acura TL. I have done a bit of customizing and found so much valuable info on www.Acurazine.com.
