Question Where is TSNHD ?????

I just got my 6000 from expressview and my first HD experience was
the MLB ALLSTAR GAME WOW! Ofcourse I needed more but could not find TSNHD. Does this channel even exist, you would think so they run that commercial every 30 secs.
The allstar game was great, the picture was 16/9 the image filled every inch of my new samsung dlp. But this weekend I was watching the British Open on ABCHD and the picture came in that awful 4/3 format I thought I was never to see again. Other than Law and Order and that ball game everything seems to show up in 4/3.
Am I hooked wrong? Or is this normal.

Thanks
Dan

Normal. Some things aren't broadcasted in HD even though they are on an HD channel. Check www.titantv.com, they have listings for all satellite/cable/local digital providers.

Default Bars and stars

I have the full Rogers HD package and I'd say that maybe a third to a half of the "HD" I watch is full 16:9. The rest is 4:3 stretched a little with the bars on the side. CBS will make the side bars grey during Letterman and FOX would fill them with stars during American Idol.

Sometimes sports are 16:9. I know almost all the NASCAR races I've flipped by have been in 16:9. Some golf (I believe it was NBC) was widescreen too. But its all based on the camera technology available at the location. We're still a few years away from everything in HD.

One thing I have noticed is that if something is going to be in 16:9 the network will add "(HD)" to its name.

The consolation is the picture quality which is much better than cable and slightly better than "regular" digital.
