im in detroit michigan
i want to be able to watch ctv ,cbc and tns and much music, what company do i need

For your situation (Detroit), a simple (and really cheap) way might be just to put a small aerial on the TV - you should be able to pick up the local Windsor stations easily. Certainly much cheaper and probably easier than getting another dish and signing up for Bell Express Vu or Star Choice.

Over the air won't give you specialty channels, though.

HDTV OTA is amazing and real easy. I don't know if Windsor is transmitting HD but they will soon.

Failing that, you could go across the board and buy an Expressvu kit. You'll want a Canadian mailing address, but you may be able to arrange direct payment or something.
