OK thanks. I had already bought the other type of switch as I was informed they are one of the most reliable out there.

Default SW44 Problems

My SW44 and four BEV receivers have been working great for months. Last week during a wind storm, I lost signal to all TV's. I realigned the dish and it still didn't work. I went back to two SW21's and everything is fine. Then I put the SW44 back, performed a check switch and no signal. Does anyone know how to test an SW44?

Have you checked the power supply for the switch?

Default Multiswitch confusion

Hi guys. You fellas are priceless. Thanks for your support. This is my first time posting. I have to admit I am now confused. I have the same setup with 1 dish, 2 dual lnb's, 2 SW21 switches hooked up properly and 2 lines coming into the house. The part I'm confused about is where you describe the hookup to the multiswitches. Is there a diagram available? I hooked up a multiswitch, a Sam-3402 3X4 Multiswitch. Dish lines were connected to the Sat inputs at the top of the switch and 2 lines were sent to the 9241, one line to a 3100 and the other to a 5900, all Expressvu. I do get reception but not all channels. I tried the test and nothing changed.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

You cannot add a multiswitch AFTER a pair of SW21's, it will not work, as you have discovered.

If you need 91 & 82 on all 4 Tuners, you need to replace the SW21's with an SW44.

If you are happy to have just 91 on the 3100 & 5900 try this;

Run BOTH lines from 91 into the 3 x 4 Multiswitch. Then run a line from this switch into port #1 of an SW21, followed by a line from 82 into the other side of the SW21. Repeat this for another SW21. The outputs of the 2 x SW21's will then feed your 9241.

This will leave you with 2 spare ports on the 3 x 4 switch, run these to your 3100 & 5900.

Sit back and watch TV.
