How many HD channels over cable??

With my Shaw HD package I`m receiving 9 basic Hd and 11 HDplus channels. After reading south of the border threads, my package $96 a month for high speed internet and about 80Sd channels, and the 20Hd channels doesn`t seem so bad. I`m in rural BC, and am wondering if you get better deals in the cities? No satelite for me, too many trees would have to be felled. As far as I am concerned HD should be mandated, it is so much better. That is my

I live in a city and I get a similar deal to you. It all depends on how many services you buy from Shaw. The more you buy the more you save on each one.

I think the pricing from Shaw is pretty much the same across the provinces, at least as far east from you as Manitoba anyway. Ontario has Rogers so there is more competition there.
