Any off-air digital stations in Canada, mainly in Toronto and Kingston area? I'd like to know so I can try out watching some of the Canadian channels. If there are, please post the channels.

In the Kingston area, you'll be limited to US stations in Syracuse and Watertown.

What I meant is, are there any Canadian television stations broadcasting OTA digital channels? I LIVE in the US, mainly on Lake Ontario and wonder if I can pick up Canadian digital channels. I am picking up Watertown, Syracuse and occassionally Rochester digital stations but would like to know if there are any Canadian digital stations rather than analog. I can get channel 11, 32, 38 and a few others fairly easy but they're analog canadian channels.

Your choice of Canadian digital stations will be limted to the Toronto-Hamilton area, and if you're really lucky maybe CBC Ottawa. The switch to digital in Canada has ground almost a complete halt. Unfortunately, there is no government mandate to convert. Three years ago Canada was 3 years behind the USA. Now it is about 5.5 years behind. In two years time it will be about 7 years behind. The "blind leading the blind" would be a vast improvement.

Yes for the most part OTA in the Toronto area is CBC, CTV, City and Sun.. Global has equipment in place and used to broadcast, but has mothballed equipment after a CRTC announcement to let the marketplace dictate HD acceptance. At present there is reluctance to spend $ on new HD OTA equipment when there is no revenue stream and no mandatory compliance issue.
