Videotron Tech services from Bad to worst

After last week experience with mister Sorin Technician from Instech a Videotron subcontractor who explained me that the Illico cable service is analogic and that is the Pace which create de Digital signal, I had today the visit of a REAL videotron technican with his supervisor.

Results
No signal on digital output of the Pace 550
on Analog component choice for SD of 480 stretched full with of the 16:9 screen, or 1080I 4:3 , the switching between both by # key. For HD everything is OK
Explainations given by the supervisor
My TV a BenQ DV3250SA is NOT HD compatible (Wrong it is http://www.hdtvsolutions.com/BenQ-DV3250.htm)
My TV makes the 1080I signal from the 480 provided by the Pace, strange on the signal there is a 1080I message generated by the Pace

The superviser want to open all the walls in my house, all my cables are inside the walls, I did it several years ago When I upgrade electrical system, at cable input there is a Electroline amplifier (same as the ones used by Videotron) followed by a 8 output splitter, each output driving a socket in different rooms, I use only 2 outputs at the time the other being terminated so i can watch TV in different rooms. The supervisor was furious because i did such instalation and decided he will disconnect all. That mean opening the walls or he will charge $29.99 per socket per month. I did all the instalation, it is probably done better that it will be by videotron, I paid all the parts
