Default Can someone help me pick out a provider?

Well basically, my price limit is $60... i want to get alot of HD channels, i would love a soccer channel, and then i suppose the regular digital channels after that, fox, cbc, tlc, animal channel, etc etc...

im not really sure whats best for me, satellite, or digital cable...

also i have 1 LCD, tv and then i have 2 tube tv sets.. so if the 2 tube tv sets could get the difital cable, while the LCD got hd and lcd, that would simply be fantastic.

thanks for the help

If you could go into "User CP" and update your profile by entering the City where you reside, it would help answering your question.

My cable provider gives me a package called "Telemax" (an upend package) which allows the basic cable to remain unfiltered and this analog signal can be used by other TVs in the house. You cannot have that with satellite service.

ic sry about that, i was almost 100% sure i put where i live in my post lol :P

*also as an update, i was thinking about going with Shaw, so i called them to ask a couple questions and they said i would need to buy a digital box for each of my tv sets, and an hd box for my LCD... they also said i would have to pay $2 extra per month for each additional tv.. so thats like $70 per month, then i have to pay for the boxes themselves....

so is there any way i can not pay the extra money per tv???

and do you think shaw would be a good choice or what?

Have considered using OTA? From your location you should get both Canadian and USA channels. Members in the Vancouver area should be of help...

At least, the non HD sets could be accommodated by OTA with inside antennas.

As for Shaw, this cable provider is not making everyone happy. ExpressVu has its problems too but they offer more HD channels and a better STB/DVR. Digital Video Recording is great... once you have it you couldn't live without it. Make the effort to get one... even from Shaw, if you go that way.
