Question Wiring satellite cable through cable box...

I am going to install my expressvu dish onto my new townhouse this weekend, and I would like to keep the installation as easy and clean as possible. What I want to do is just run the cable from my dish, into the cable box in my garage, so I can tap into the cable already going to my basement from the cable box. So, the question of the day is......how can I get into the box?? I already subscribe to Shaw Cable for my internet and currently my basic cable, so would they come open the box for me? I have tried to find the proper key to buy off eBay, but have been unable to find something that looks like it will work. Here is a pic of the box......does anyone have any suggestions, or know where I can get a key to open the box.

Default Good chance its 'their' property

I suspect you may mess up your broadband if you try hook up into the cable set up.

But, to answer your question, I doubt they'll let you.

That being said, I read somewhere that those types of locks are easily pickable with a 'bic' pen. Try google ...

Yeah, the bic pen trick didn't work.....but my hammer sure did!!! Just pried it open with the end of the hammer. Will Shaw care that my box is open now, as long as I am still paying for all the services that I am receiving?? I have them coming tomorrow to deliver the HD-PVR receiver.....

I hope they used RG6 to wire your house, and your going to need 2 wires from the multi-switch to your 9200.If the wires from the lnb to the reciever are not RG6,you could have problems.
