Default FTA HDTV PVR/Tivo/Dvr systems

I have been searching the web for a FTA - HD receiver with a DVR. It doesnt seem that there is a system out there as of yet.

The newest FTA systems avail (with dual tuner DVR capability are mpeg2 still) eg; Viewsat 7000 & Dreambox... There is a Hume receiver avail in the UK but it does not have DVR.

Does anyone know if & when a FTA - HD receiver w/ a DVR or Hard Drive slot will be coming avail...?

Any solid knowledge appreciated.

Of course there are always do-it-yourself options like MythTV, but that involves setting up a computer to act as the box. If you are comfortable with computers and haven't checked out the options, it's worth looking into. MythTV is the Linux-based option (free). There are also good options for Windows and for Mac OS X, both commercially and open source.

There is a brief comparison of MythTV and some other options here
http://www.y1d.com/Book/preview?pnum=201
and the MythTV features list is here:
