Bell 6000 HD

Wondering if you could help me? Does the BellExpressVu 6000 HD receiver require a 8PSK Module for HD Satellite TV (as does Dishnet 6000 HD) .Thanks. JP

not that I know of.
only dish uses it.

No you don't need it. It works out of the box, provided you've got a dual LNB setup and the 'new' dish, however - facts that escape most of the distributors.

I would suggest you hold off buying the 6000. Its a real buggy piece of junk. They seem to be discontinuing it, probably to make room for the HD PVR.

Rent for $10 a month and hope you don't get screwed like I did. I bought it $650 and now it's $250 and they will not listen to an upgrade to the 6100 with DVI output. Not happy.

threaten cancellation and I am willing to bet their customer retention department (who they will forward you to) will offer an upgrade to the 6100.

No they did not. I ended up going and purchasing a 6100 as well. It looks great with DVI but now I have two. Still I have HD pic-in-pic
