Default Do Rogers HD Terminals have HDMI?

I looked at the back of one at a Rogers outlet and I didn't see one. Does anyone know if Rogers HD terminals have HDMI outputs?

Yes, the SA8300HD DVR.

Hi,
Not only do the HD versions of the Scientific Atlantic decoders (which Rogers Cable presently use) have HDMI, the SA8300hd decoder/PVR has an active SATA port which allows customers to increase the recording space of the unit's standard 160gigs to whatever you feel you need.

There are some caveats and a specific process but I have successfully added a self powered outboard 300gig hd/drv.

HD programming eats up approximately 10gigs per hr. The increase of HD offerring is almost at critical mass and I have always hated watching TV in the traditional way.

I want to enjoy only the programs or films that interest me and ff through the BS. These recordings are bit for bit as they arrived to the box and YES if you have a properly ISF'd display you might even notice an improovment through your HDMI connection.

The SA8250HD has a DVI output which is electrically the same as HDMI without the audio.

Rogers needs to update their SARA software to get rid of the error message.

The Rogers boxes don't have HDMI, and using an adapter (DVI/HDMI) you don't get the sound this way.

You need to use either the Fiber optic or digital audio output.

As far as I know, all SA 3250HD terminals have DVI only -- not HDMI.

DVI and HDMI are identical except for the audio. An adapter is the easy way to go if all you have is an HDMI cable.
