Default Hum...

Thanks for the answer but there's no DVI input in a PC. It should be by USB, Ethernet or Firewire...

I don't know if someone tried. I want to take recorded HD movies to a Media Center and, maybe, edit them as HD-DVD...

There are graphic cards with a DVI HDCP input/output. Here's one of them:

However, I doubt one could export DVR data (either satellite or cable DVR) to a PC or Mac because of different operating systems.
If a DVR and a computer have active Firewires, certain programs could be archived under DTCP copy protection protocol.

A properly equipped computer can be used as a DVR for HD content.

Default DVI input

Merci pour la réponse.

Are you sure that the DVI can do input and output?

DVI-D is digital to digital, so there's no sense of direction. And HDCP could not complete a handshake if one device could not answer the other.

Ça me fait plaisir!

Default 9220 to external hard drive

Are we talking an HDMI to DVI cable here. Because the 9220 only has HDMI and most graphics cards are DVI I assume. I would like to transfer from my 9220 to an external harddrive somehow but I am not sure if it will go through USB. Or if I had one of the newer graphics cards with HDMI on it could you transfer from HDMI to HDMI and at least get audio as well. How would you get the audio if you hooked up DVI-HDMI. Just a few questions. Just got the PVR and would like to transfer content onto the hard drive to format and burn HD-DVD's
