bell expressvu downloaded upgrades for these receivers which allows for 'Name Based Recording' and it works like a charm.

What is name-based recording and what buttons do you press on the remote to engage it?

Name Based Recording is a feature where u enter whatever show u want to record and all shows with that title/info will automatically record witthout duplication. hit the PVR button twice and u will c a "Vu Pass'. this is where u set it up.

I only wish when they downloaded these new features to my 9200, that it didn't erase everything on the hard-drive. I was some ticked off that the entire season of 24 I had saved on there in HD got corrupted as a result.

I have problems finding some programs with mine.
Example: Search on 'X-files' does not find any, search on 'X' finds every program with and X in it EXCEPT X-files!!
Tried searching just titles, in descriptions but nothing worked!
Even searched on 'Gillian' and 'Anderson' in description and it could not find anything even though her name is in EVERY episode description?!? Same thing with LOST, can't find any (when it was still on)

Go figure!!

If it's not on for the guide duration (48hrs), then what do you expect it to find?

It's on every week night at 11:30 on 216.
If anyone can find it with Name Base, let me know how you did it
