Question New and totally confused!!

I am purchasing either the Hitachi or Toshiba TV. IF I go with Bell, is it worth going with the HDTV system? Do all the other regular channels come in on the HDTV system? I'm just not able to find alot of info on te Bell site. When I look into the 6120 HDTV System, I can't determine cost of channels, packages, etc. It seems to me the Bell Expressvu site is extremely confusing. Is anyone able to give me a reasonable overview? Thanks. I guess I could always call them.......

Cool

If you get the hdtv system you will get all the standard definition channels. As for programming i believe bell offers the most hd but you will have to call them for pricing. Putting it on the web site would be too easy.If you can afford it i would spring for the hd you will be blown away when you get it.Seems pointless to have an hdtv and no hd just my opinion.

The remote for the 6120 receiver carries a small button on the upper left to toggle between HD and SD. You can connect DVI to a DTV input, a Component cable to a second DTV input (for HD) plus a Composite or S-Video cable to your Video 1 input (for SD).

An alternative, if you reside in an area serviced by Rogers or Videotron, is to get cable and consider getting the SA8000HD DVR...this changes your TV viewing habits big time. With the ability to record 2 programs at the same time (2 tuners) and playback a third, you plan your TV viewing to fit your own time.

The DVR was the main reason I switched from BEV to Videotron cable and the second reason was to not lose the signal in bad weather.
