Is there a port where you can hook in a cable from an antenna for OTA channels on the BEV 9200 or would I need another type of box?

I don't think the BEV 9200 has an ATSC tuner for ATSC.

The only Bell receiver that currently does is the 6000 series.

Default 9200 OTA tuner

Actually the 9200 can accept an OTA antenna feed, and can supposedly record two Bell HD channels plus an OTA channel. Being in Ottawa, there are no OTA channels

WNPI-DT on 23 (18-01 SD) and WCFE-DT on 38 (57-01 HD and 57-02 SD) come in clear at my place. I'm in Blackburn Hamlet (11-minute drive from downtown).

Default Wondering Near Wonderland

hi everybody.

tomorrow i'm going to install my eagle aspen EA-2BUHF antenna on the west side of my house which faces south. i have a HR10-250 HD directivo with 2 OTA tuners.

i've never done this before and i'm wondering if i should point the antenna directly south.

any tips would be greatly appreciated.

thanks, joe

My cable co. dose not offer The WB-HD in my are. Can I use a antenna to get it? And would it be worth shelling out more $$ for the antenna. Cuz I really need to see the Gilmore Girls in HD

It depends where you are, but in Toronto, you generally have to aim S.S.E. The Buffalo channels are in Grand Island and S.E. of Buffalo.

hey, thanks for the reply, intrac. i live near Wonderland.

right now, i just connected the antenna and it's barely off the ground on my gas meter but i'm able to get City-HD, CFTO and CBC, albeit with weak signals.

i'm going out there now to mount it up on the mast on the house.

later.

the signal on City-HD is now 89-90.

CFTO 79-80.

CBLT is jumping all over the place, sometimes it stays at 71.

i'm gonna move it a bit west.

a receiver with an "over the air" tuner. one of these and an antenna is all you need to pickup free tv, some of it HD.

i don't know about huntsville, desmond, i have no idea what's in the air up there, if anything.

i'd imagine you could pull in some analog locals but even then, i'm just guessing.

Right. LAFF. We are all stupid! Here's a guy, figures EVERYONE has access to OTA... cause HE does. Buddy, you should run for Prime Minister cause with a mind THAT NARROW, you could go FAR in Canadian Politics!

"HD TV is FREE. Why does everyone want to Pay. Since I have my HD OTA system, I don't even need cable. "
