New BC resident, need advice

I'll be moving to Penticton, BC in mid April. I have a new home with no phone or cable hookup yet and will be buying a new HDTV with integrated tuners (probably in the U.S). I see that there are several phone, cable and internet providers such as Rogers, Shaw and Telus in BC. Any advice on who has the better service would be appreciated. Thanks

if u buy ur HDTV in the states make sure any warranty will be covered in canada. i got burned a couple of years ago when i purchased a tv in Blaine, Wash. i had to take the tv to a repair shop in the states to get it fixed.
