Confused
I just moved into a new apartment. It has free cable. I mean the guy who used to live in the apartment forgot to get the service turned off before he left. Would I get into trouble if I won't pay for it?

There might be some prob if you still use the free cable, But i am not for sure, wish you luck, guy.

When I first got married, many years ago, apartment signs would say "Free Cable" in large letters as an enticement to would-be renters. You could say, if the cable co. tries to get you to pay up, "Gee, I thought it was free." Then offer to pay from that point on seeing you are now aware that it isn't a free service provided by the apartment owner.
BTW I wouldn't order any PPV or VOD movies as the computer would soon find out you weren't a valid customer if you choose to keep quiet about it. It's your decision! |

It's your call but when we bought our cottage, Rogers cable TV was still working. We said holy @#$ we have free cable. In a week when we returned it was off. When it comes to us ordinary people getting anything for free the cable companies are on the ball. Everything else, they drop the ball.

Ya, I did the same thing with my power bill lol, then i called in cause i didnt wanna get in some sort of a mess over it and when i asked if i should pay off the portion of what i used on the other customers bill, they told me no its there own problem lmao! It's ultimately up to you though, its your a$$ on the line if someone decided to sue... which wouldn't be anything out of the ordinary these day's.
