bell 6100
hows it going?
My father-in-law purchased a bell 6100 receiver and hooked it up to the tv using the dvi to hdmi cable. Tho the picture is good he is not getting any sound. After figuring out that you only get video thru one of these but no sound I was just wondering to get sound thru just the TV can he use an optical cable or even just the regular white and red rca audio cables or would you just recommend that he use the component cables with the white and red audio cables thanks |

With the DVI output:
If he has optical audio in on the TV, it will be better. Else, he can use the red/white cable.
