HDMI Switcher

I have a Sony KD-30XS955 That I love but It only has one HDMI jack!I currently have an oppo opdv971 Upconversion dvd player hocked up but I plan to get a PS3 for the blu-ray playback.Unfortunatly the ps3 can't do up conversion or play my region 2 dvd's so there is my delema.I read that there are HDMI Switchers that can remedy my problem but I don't know which to buy.Are there any good HDMI switchers for under 100 US Dollars?

If you don't mind getting up to switch sources then you can get a mechanical switcher.

Monoprice.com has one for about $40. Remember to get more HDMI cables.

If you are looking for an active switch with remote, i would suggest Gefen or Atlona, both will work without signal degradation and pretty reliable

Several folks had excellent results with <$100 remote units sold by monoprice.
Gefen is quite expensive, and was one of the first on the scene. There is no reason to believe the latest less expensive units now available will not deliver.

Here are a few that I've seen on Ebay.

Some are around $100, w/ remote. I was also wondering if there is much degration of picture quality. Using a HDMI swither.

There should be none noticeable. That's why it would be wise to buy with some reasonable return policy so you can try it out.
Even then that is no guarantee it will continue to be reliable.
I think a lot depends on usage. If I planned to be switching signals on a daily basis I would tend towards more quality units like Key Digital or Gefen.
But for less use like on family movie weekends..I suspect the less expensive units would do just fine.
