certainly not a bad choice, at least it's not a grossly overpriced mon$$ter cable. Another very good source is Monoprice

6' http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2

or 12' (to give you a little more length to position your xBox)

Default Hdmi

600 Hz is the refresh rate of the TV. It has absolutely nothing to do with input cables, despite what the hype says. An OTA signal delivered to your TV via a wire hanger will refresh at 600 Hz. And, as m_vanmeter suggested, go to www.monoprice.com for all of your cables.

Actually the Panasonic plasma is 60Hz with a 600Hz sub-field. Plasma TV's don't have motion blur like LCD panels do so their refresh rate is inconsequential in this area.

The cable has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with it anyway, just a lot of fictitious hype.

Or there ferrite ones?

not necessilary "better", just different, rated for in-wall (not that a 6' cable is going very far inside a wall) with some fancy netting over the cable for looks.

for short runs, ferrites won't do much. They are there to limit the amount of external interference a long run of cable will pick up. Ferrites just help the shielding do its job of protecting the signal. If there is little difference in price, I would get the cable with ferrites and not worry about cables with special outer insulation for NEC in-wall use.
