Apologies if this has been asked and answered before.
Can anyone tell me if it's possible to have a DTV signal (HDTV) and a Comcast internet signal on the same coax line? If so, how would I combine the signals to the line; i.e., is there a device that's opposite of a splitter that brings 2 lines to 1? |

I'd be intrested to see if diplexers would work? I've never actually tried it and can't come up with a good reason why they wouldn't? They can be had cheap enough on the internet (I see them for as low as 2.99 each, you need to use them in sets) that it would probally be worth ordering a couple and giving it a go?
If your not farmilar with diplexers the following link should help; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diplexer |

Can you Enlighten me as to why. When satellite's first came out diplexers were used to carry the satalite and cable signal down one line. (of course this might have been before digital cable was the norm). Anyways really curious why this wouldn't work? Simple not enough bandwidth?
