Default High quality cables: online Canadian vendor?

Hi, I currently use monster cables for component and HDMI. I got the best that Monster had, and I spent about $400 after taxes (Canadian dollars) on the 2 sets of cables!!

Luckily it has been less than 30 days so I can return for a full refund. However, does anyone know of a Canadian vendor that sells high quality cables online? I'd like to place an order but if I buy from the states I get slapped with taxes, levies and duty at the Canadian border :\

Thanks in advance.

Yes cables are a rip off up here in Canada. I found Ebay the BEST place for buying cables. Yes, there is duty fees but it is still WAY cheaper. For example, FutureShop is selling a 15' DVI cable for $169.00 cdn I got the exact cable for $32.00 cdn AFTER shipping costs and duty fees!! And that was from one of many EBay stores selling cables. I don't understand. I just bought last night a 3' DVI to HDMI cable for $14.00 cdn including shipping. The duty and taxes will make it about $20.00 in total. That is still 1/3 of the price up here!

THANK YOU EBAY

In Saskatchewn? Buy your cables at OTV technologies in Saskatoon. I purchased HDMI to DVD cables for 16.00 and component video for 17.00 no need to pay the huge amount they want for monster cables elsewhere. I am very satisfied with these cables and the picture quality on my new Panasonic plasma is awesome. just search OTV Saskatoon you will find them,

You can buy your cables on line for a fraction of the costs you have mentioned. www.monoprice.com With the money you save, including shipping you could buy some more speakers. And for your information ALL HDMI cables are made in China (most in the same factory)and thorough testing has proven that there is no difference between a $10.00 one and a $300.00 one. Don't get ripped off.
