Default Cox HD Las Vegas

I recently got an HD box from cox communications (today), while it works fine and all the channels are there, it looks like many of them are off of an east coast feed(such as Spike, A&E, History, ETC). Being on the west coast this is somewhat annoying as everything on these channels is 3 hours ahead of what i am used to, i was just wondering if this was normal or if i should look further into this.

Thanks for any replys.

I don't know exactly what you mean by the channels being 3 hours ahead of what you're used to. Could you explain in more detail?

I think many stations have an east coast and west coast feed, being 3 hours apart from each other(east being ahead of coures time wise). i can watch a show right now on say USA HD and then the same show will air on the non HD USA network that i get on regular cable in 3 hours. Im just trying to figure out why it is like that. Thanks, hope that makes a it a bit more clear.

Yes, now I understand. And I just read your latest post and find it odd that they do it that way.
