...on their optimum homepage. Don't know how reliable this thread is but if this is true, it would be pretty awesome.

Default Web DVR management

Yes, it is up and running, and it's great. In fact, it's easier to use than trying to schedule a recording with the remote control.

You access this feature by signing on to your Optimum Online account with any web browser, and navigating to the IO program guide. At the top of the guide are three tabs, one of which is labeled DVR. Click that tab, and voila! Up comes your DVR menu, listing all of your current recordings and all of your scheduled recordings. You can manage all the features of the DVR from the web interface.

I have two DVR's...one SD and one HD. I can access each of them individually, from a pull-down menu. You can even change the names of them from DVR1 and DVR2 to more descriptive titles, like BEDROOM and DEN.

Best of all, it's free!! (at least for now.)

It asked me to accept term, then it seems to give me a progress bar like its reading something off my cablebox. But nothing happens. =/

What to do ?

There is one catch. In order to use the web DVR programming service, you have to have both io TV and optimum online internet service. I have both but one is on a business account downstairs and the TV is on my personal account. Neither can be changed and they can't (won't) link them for this service. I use the online service throughout the building for business and personal access.
