Comcast - Channel Numbers Different

I was helping a friend set up her new TV's with Comcast cable.. why is it that the 37" Proscan Flat Screen HD TV that has in internal digital tuner and connected directly to the cable without a converter box get all the Comcast channels but they a numbered totally different than the other conventional TV's in the house that are connected to Comcast Cable using converter boxes. Shouldn't they be the same? She contacted Comcast and they had no idea / concept of what was going on...

The numbers will not be the same. Comcast is no help. Just browse until you memorize your favorites.
