Smile Protest to Time Warner/Bright House cable for dropping HDNet/Movie

I called their corporate office: 212-364-8200
tell the lady you are protesting them for dropping HDNet and HDNet Movie, then they will transfer you to the right person.

Tell them:
1). You are very unhappy.
2). Ask them to reinstate HDNet and HDNet movie, or you will terminate them.
3). Tell them Mark Cuban (HDNet CEO) asked you to protest.
4). If you partment complex has no other options, tell them you will become a bandwidth hog and download 2000GB data in a month, and continous to do until you have another choice.
5). Go to website to download Linux DVD iso file, and download several at a time, delete them and download again.

ftp://ftp.cise.ufl.edu/pub/mirrors/knoppix/knoppix-dvd/
ftp://csociety-ftp.ecn.purdue.edu/pub/knoppix/

After you download >100 iso file every month for several months, they will lose lots of $$$ and warn you, then you protest again and stop that regardless of whether they bring back HDNEt!

Please hurth their bottonline!

Ugh. I work for Brighthouse and am P.O.'d about losing HDNet! I did send an email and they made it sound like the door was left open for it to come back in the future. But seriously, HDNet was the reason I decided to go for the HD broadcast...before I actually became an employee.

Thats not really going to hurt their bottom line... people are still going to pay for the internet, unfortunely the bandwidth on the cable line will take that usage. The result to doing that will most likely cause you to notice slower speeds or a 'nasty gram'...

If I was the company and I found this thread I would disconnect you... :-)
