Default Hard to figure Comcast out....

Just when I think that Comcast really sucks, they come up with a great surprise. After haggling with customer service about my broken Box, inclluding cancelling my appointment with a tech without my permission, and saying that my problem was solved when it wasnt, and then telling me to go myself and return the box, I finally get a rep who is sympathetic, and they send a tech out today, right on time, with a new box, and lo and behold, about 7 NEW HD channels, includiing Travel HD, and ESPN News HD, MGM HD, FUSE, E! and a couple of movie channels!

hard to figure you out, Comcast. Anyway, now i got a new HD DVR. box, with 7 new HD channels, and, I got my MLB HD. You seem to go from CONcast, to ComCRAP, and then instantly turn COMCASTIC!
mebbe its the nature of the beast, and all TV providers are of the same mold.

That's the beauty of Comcast, no bill for a service call.

Comcast shouldn't bill for service calls because some are bogus and unnecessary. Notice I said some and not all. In the past when their internet service would go down I would call. They would deny up and down any outage anywhere in the city, tell me it's only me who called and to check my computer; they'd hold. Thank you. After finding nothing; they would then tell me I needed a service call appointment. So I'd make one. Strangly within an hour or so the service would 'mysteriously' be restored. I then would have to call back and cancel the service call.
Now when there is an outage I record the time that I first notice it. Then after several hours, if not restored, I call to report the outrage which I am sure they are aware of, and I refuse to make a service call appointment. When the service is 'mysteriously' restored; I again record the time and sometimes call and receive pro-rated credit for the lack of service. I think it has to be out a minimum of three hours. Comcast knows when whole neighborhoods are out but they won't admit it. They want you to think the outage is always just you. But it's not just you. Ask your neighbors.
