Default QAM tuner - no CBS HD? Alexandria, VA

I've got Comcast in Alexandria, VA. I'm able to pick up other locals (Fox, NBC, ABC) in HD but can't get CBS HD, WUSA 9. The webpage for the affiliate, wusa9.com, says its supposed to be 9.1. Any reason as to why I can't seem to get it? I'm just running the coax from the wall to my TV, Samsung LNT1954H.

Aparrently, your cable company does not carry that channel in QAM.
The 9.1 would be correct if you had an antenna, QAM channels are typically higher, like in the 70's and up.

Call Comcast and ask them if you are supposed to be getting that channel through QAM. If so, they can tell you which channel they are mapping it to. Maybe its on a high channel that you haven't found yet. If not, then try changing your cable type from STD to something else (IRC, ...) and then rescan. The other thing is that sometimes cable companies drop certain QAM channels for a bit and then they come back - sometimes as a different channel number.

I find this happens often. Do you know why they do this?
